The Rawlins County Extension office is the home of Community and Economic Development in Rawlins County. Economic Development has been rolled into the position of the Community Development Extension Agent with K-State Research and Extension. The Economic Development Board handles The Greason Industrial Park and Network Kansas E-Loans.

Rawlins County became an E-Community through the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship Tax Credit Program in 2007. This is a project to encourage entrepreneurial activity in the communities of Rawlins County. Resources to help Rawlins County residents include low-interest E-Community loans for startups and existing businesses, business coaching, advice and mentorship, access to educational resources (such as classes and workshops), and custom assistance for your business needs.
